Happy Teachers' Day, says! Google with doodle

“A true teacher is one who, keeping the past alive, is also able to understand the present” –Confucius
The role of a teacher in an individual’s life goes beyond mere textbooks and test scores. They are the mentors, friends, and catalysts who push us to ask questions, to seek answers, to shape our mind the way it rightly should be to become better individuals.
In honour of the all the noblest and most selfless mentors Google has published an animated doodle on its India homepage.

In India, Teachers’ Day also marks the birth anniversary of the country’s first Vice President and second President, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
While World Teachers’ Day is officially celebrated all across the globe on October 5, many countries celebrate the occasion on varied ideas, from honouring a local educator to marking important milestone in the field of education.
Doodler Olivia Huynh has created today’s doodle that shows two hands (one of the mentor and the other of the student) together solving an equation. Surprisingly, the Google logo in the background is the old version.
